Cleaning Up Duplicate Service Times and Events

Overview
Sometimes extra service times or events appear in the Input view, creating confusion and splitting your data. This often happens when a regular weekly service is accidentally created as an Event.

Key Differences

  • Regular Service Times → Ongoing, weekly services.

  • Event Service Times → One-time or special services (e.g., Christmas Eve).

How to Hide Unwanted Service Times

  1. Go to Admin → Service Times.

  2. Click the Event Service Times tab to see all event-based services.

  3. Identify duplicates or outdated ones.

  4. Archive them to remove from future input screens but keep all historical data.

Managing Historical Data in Events

If important data is stored under an event but you want it under a regular service time:

  • Option 1 – Keep the event archived and adjust your reports/widgets to include event data.

  • Option 2 – Manually re-enter past data into the regular service time, then delete the event to remove it entirely.

Tip:
For ongoing weekly services, always use regular service times. Reserve events for special, one-off gatherings to avoid duplication and confusion.
