Adding Service Times is an important step in getting started using Church Metrics. Once you have your service times created, you will be able to enter data into Church Metrics that you can then view in reports and on the Dashboard.
Adding New Service Times
From the Profile drop down, select Admin. Then select Service Times from the left-hand navigation.
Click Create Service Time.
Set a Campus, day, and time for your service. When setting a time, you can type any format you'd like (9am, 9:00, 1pm, 13:00, etc) and the system will automatically convert your time to the correct format.
Campus: This will only show if you have created more than 1 Campus so that you can select which Campus this service is for. If you need help creating Campuses, check out our Creating a Campus article!
Day of Week: Select which day of the week your service time is on.
Group this service with the _____ Sunday: This will only show for service times that are not on Sundays. In Church Metrics, all categories are grouped by week in relation to Sunday. When recording data for weekday services you may add that data to the current week or to the following week.
Time of Day: Type in the time of day for your service.
Make sure to click Save to finalize your Service Time.
Editing and Deleting Service Times
If you would like to edit or delete your service time at any point, you can go back into the Service Times tab and click Change to update them.
You can edit any of the details for the service time here. You can also archive or delete the service time. Be careful though! Deleting a service time will also delete all of the data you've entered for that service time, and it cannot be recovered. When in doubt, it's better to simply archive the service time to hide it from your view without deleting any of the historical data.
