Church Metrics makes it easy to generate and schedule reports, but there are some important limitations to be aware of when it comes to who receives them, when they’re sent, and how they can be shared.
How to Schedule a Report
You can schedule reports to run automatically and be delivered to your email inbox.
Click on the Reports tab.
Click Schedule Email on the report that you would like sent each week.
Select the day and other criteria for your scheduled report.
Click Schedule to save your settings.
Timing: Reports are automatically emailed at 6:30 AM local time on the chosen day(s). The exact send time cannot be customized.
Who Receives Scheduled Reports
Scheduled reports are only sent to the email address tied to your Church Metrics account.
They are not automatically shared with other users, even if they have access to the same organization.
Each user who wants to receive a scheduled report must log in and set up their own schedule.
Tip: If you want multiple people to receive the same report, each person needs to schedule it within their own account—or you can use email forwarding (see below).
Sharing Reports With Your Team
Since scheduled reports cannot be sent to multiple people directly from Church Metrics, here are your options:
Option 1: Forward the Scheduled Email
Schedule the report to your own email.
Use your email provider’s rules/filters to forward it automatically.
Gmail: Create a filter to forward messages from
noreply@churchmetrics.com.Outlook: Use mail rules to automatically forward reports to others.
Option 2: Share Exported Reports
If others need the data in a reusable format:
Generate the report.
Click Export and choose:
PDF — for a clean, printable summary.
CSV — for raw data that can be analyzed in Excel or Google Sheets.
Once the file is exported to your computer, you can then send the file to your team, leadership, or external stakeholders.
