Creating a Group in Church Metrics

Learn how you can request to create a group in Church Metrics.

Groups in Church Metrics allow you to connect multiple organizations under a shared reporting structure. This is especially useful for networks, denominations, or multi-location ministries that want to collect and view standardized data from multiple churches.

Important: Groups cannot be created directly by users. They must be set up by the Church Metrics Support team.

How to Request a Group Creation

  1. Contact Church Metrics Support

    • Reach out via the in-app chat or email.

    • Mention that you’d like to create a new Group.

  2. Provide the Required Information

    • The name you want for your Group.

    • Confirm whether you will be the primary administrator for the Group.

  3. Wait for Setup Confirmation

    • The support team will create your Group on the backend.

    • You will receive a confirmation when it’s ready.

  4. Invite Organizations to Your Group

    • Log into your account.

    • Click your organization name in the top-left corner and select your new Group from the dropdown.

    • From the Group view, invite any organizations you want to join.

Notes

  • You must be an administrator to request and manage a Group.

  • Once created, you can manage which organizations are linked, but you cannot delete the Group without contacting support again.
