What Are Projections?
Projections in Church Metrics are manually entered numbers that represent your expected attendance, giving, or participation for a specific category, quarter, and year.
Projections are not automatically calculated by the system.
They are a tool for goal-setting and comparison (actual vs. projected).
Once entered, you can view projections in your Reports and compare them against actual results.
This is helpful if you:
Want to set ministry goals or targets
Need to measure performance against expectations
Wish to visualize projected vs. actual data in reports
How to Add Projections
To enter or update projections in Church Metrics:
Go to Admin
Choose Projection Details
Enter Your Projections
Once entered, projections can be pulled into custom reports to compare actual vs. projected data.
Viewing Projections
In some chart views, you can toggle Include Projections to see comparisons visually.
Removing or Editing Projections
If you need to change or remove projections:
Go to Admin β Projections.
Locate the quarter, year, and category you want to edit.
Update the values or delete them (set to 0).
Save your changes.
